Dan Curry has been the Interim Pastor of Cedar Cross since March 2022. In this role, he leads Cedar Cross during a time of transition between pastors. He and his wife live in Arlington, Texas.
Dan Curry’s roots go back to the panhandle of Texas where his father pastored several churches in the Lubbock and Plainview area. Dan attended and graduated from Wayland Baptist University. While he was in college he married Alicia, his High School sweetheart. They have three children and nine grandchildren.
Following college, Dan attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth. He earned two degrees from Southwestern, a Master of Divinity and a Doctor of Ministry.
Dan brings 47 years of pastoral ministry to Cedar Cross. He has been the pastor of six churches and most recently he was the Senior Pastor of South Oaks Baptist Church in Arlington for nearly 25 years. The last six years, Dan has been an Area Representative for Texas Baptists. Dan’s area covers sixteen counties and eleven Baptist Associations in North Central Texas. While serving Texas Baptists, he has also led three churches through an interim pastor ministry.
